We live in a world where the church is increasingly seen as irrelevant to the struggles of everyday life. Yet our world is also becoming more and more weighed down by the problems of mental illness growing in number and impact on people's lives.

Steve Midgley, from Biblical Counselling UK is particularly experienced and equipped to speak to how we as the church are uniquely called by God to engage with mental health in our world and the role of caring for one another through struggles of mental illness.

Co-author of the recently published book "Mental Health and Your Church" Steve will be expanding on topics covered in this must read book. Steve's teaching draws on his years of work in both psychiatry and pastoral ministry, speaking with a clarity that helpfully connects Scripture to the stuff of everyday life.

Fully catered event including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
